Welcome Slicksters...Today is CHALLENGE DAY! First comes first though Rest In Paradise to Craig Mack and Stephen Hawking. The main theme of this episode is to come to the defense of Bruno Mars amid this recent controversy that arrived out of nowhere. And our definition of "cultural appropriation" and who would technically fall under this category. Big Sean infidelity rumor and the DJ Envy lashing on The Breakfast Club. 2 hr episode, with more surprises awaiting. Classic material for you all to enjoy.

Welcome back to the best damn podcast point blank PERIOD. This is a somewhat of a feel good episode. We wrap up our Monique talk with her recent Breakfast Club Interview. Then we discussed being called "Daddy" and our feelings about this. After that once again the thirst is attacked this time over Safaree recent "pictures" being leaked. Once again the conversation of bringing 90 sitcoms back to this modern era is discussed. Due to the rumored Fresh Princess Of Bel Air becoming a possibility. A future podcast was also hinted throughout the entirety of this episode as well. Along with a possible Battle Of The Sexes series. Dope episode, you shall be entertained.

Coming off the heels of our longest episode, to perhaps our shortest since the return. Hype almost misses his first episode since 2013. However he drank the hell out of some Alkaline Water and pushed on through. This is where the "Set The Timer" aspect comes along, we went as long as Hype's voice could hold out. In this time span we discussed topics ranging from Black Panther to Blac Chyna (yeah we went there.) Gave a somewhat light breakdown/review of the movie and our respect for the actors. After that we attacked the thirst for a certain actor (ladies you know who). All while debating slightly about modern day relationships before the Blac Chyna fiasco. All in all, great episode despite Hype's vocals lol.

This episode right here.....our longest ever recorded. Take your sweet time digesting, researching, and or challenging what you were exposed to. We brought back Contrast (and he is accompanied by Ahse) for a more spiritual breakdown and importance of the movie Black Panther. Along with tackling this new Nefertiti controversy and the impact it could have on future generations. Among speaking and diving in about other "Conspiracies". Honestly am having a difficult time typing all that was discussed in the span of 3 hours (yeah you read that correctly.) Just an episode to help expand your mind. Love it or hate it, can't say we don't provide you all with gems.

Welcome back to the best damn podcast point blank period. Slick Radio starts with a tribute to Hype's Half Sister Jalisa (R.I.P) and brief revelations he had discovered this past two weeks. Don't worry you will not stay in serious town for too long. The duo speaks on the 2020 return of the XFL and our low expectations for this league. Then the trip turns into weird town and the "No Fap Challenge" was brought up and broken down. Along with these "Sex Dolls" (eww) and the potential negative side effects these cravings can have on you long term. Hype brings up his don't do's for the Black Panther movie release and Black History Month in general. Of course the Grammy's were covered and who was felt between Kanye and Kendrick has been the biggest snub overall. And finally the show concludes with their thoughts on Monique vs Netflix. All in all good content. Be on the look out....this year will be special :0

Bare with us please as we all take part in a testing/introduction episode into another venture Slick Radio is preparing to take you all. Introducing one of many shows we are getting ready to birth through our network (yes we are really out here working.) titled Contrast. We will keep you all informed on the official release date of this show. This episode here is a special one I can't even fit in a description what was covered. Just gotta trust us.

The quality is different from our usual sound, we are testing new equipment to prep for future episodes and our live show that is coming soon ;)

This has been a strange week. Not much has happened for us to really go in on. Yet, we still provide you all 2 hours of entertainment. Interesting conversations and a angry rant from Hype. Keeping things short and sweet.

Sheesh this year is starting off with the momentum it has built closing out from 2017. The drama is steadily rising and as usual your favorite duo is here to cover what we can. This Ginuwine vs The Transgender Community situation is covered extensively. Which spawns off into a interesting conversation never discussed on this show. A detour is taken briefly discussing a possible Eminem vs Joe Budden beef that takes a odd turn to a hopefully unlikely Lupe vs Kendrick feud. Then we leave that neighborhood and drive into this H&M racial controversy (the hoodie is ugly regardless of what was on it. I mean seriously that's a ugly color.). Just to park and dig deeper into how much of a impact "African Americans" have on the economy as a whole. Along with challenging other stereotypes. After we depart from there, we take a brief tour into the Oprah speech and the ever growing problems with Hollywood. Rounding out this episode speaking about "expectations." Strap in folks, we stay in serious town for the majority of this episode. 2 Hours of that good conversation.

Welcome back to Slick Radio! The BEST DAMN PODCAST POINT BLANK PERIOD! Alright Slicksters we are trying to end our year strong with these last few episodes. The duo discusses the "Nice Guy Syndrome" and how insulting the term really is. Along the way relationship jewels are dropped during this conversation please take heed. Our apologies as we reveal how we feel about this Holiday season. However, we do take a turn back into serious town and debate this Keaton Jones controversy and touch on the hot topic of bullying. Warning we do have a bunch of side notes this episode. A lot of hidden roads we turn down briefly before we travel down the main Highway. The show ended with a Tilt "Arcade" call-out and the love for gaming explained in the finest detail. Great vintage episode for you all to enjoy.

Welcome back Slicksters to the BEST DAMN PODCAST POINT BLANK PERIOD! We will not hold you as far as this description today. Between Joyner Lucas I'm Not Racist, and the Cam'ron vs Mase beef (obviously this was covered) Hip-Hop has been quite interesting to close out November. The Marvel vs DC movie war was won with the release of Marvel's Infinite War trailer this week. Jewels were dropped as far as relationship and even borderline spiritual advice throughout the entirety of this episode. And with the release of Spike Lee's She's Gotta Have It series on Netflix the duo decides to name 5 movies they would remake as a series.

Nov 17, 2017

Welcome back to the BEST DAMN PODCAST POINT BLANK PERIOD! Slick Radio brings to you another classic episode to be enjoyed by the masses. The dynamic duo discusses the GQ man of the year Colin Kaepernick and why he was deserving of the award. Not going to lie a mini vacation was taken at serious town for a good portion of this episode. The emergence of "Rape Culture" was brought to attention along with a little of the backlash regarding the Hollywood sexual assaults recently coming to light. Mental Health seems to be a popular but controversial topic to tackle so it had to be brought up. With the death of Lil Peep (R.I.P.) the question of whether or not his passing will impact this ever growing popularity of promoting/celebrating the use of drugs among the younger artist in the music industry.

When the numbers dropped, we damn sure did something bout it.

Welcome back to another episode of the BEST DAMN PODCAST POINT BLANK PERIOD! Let us not hold you up this week with this description. Today we had a whole bunch of L's to hand out. Hollywood has been exposed this past month or so. Obviously we tackled the Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey controversial sexual accusations that has Hollywood wide open at the moment. Then the recent Tyrese radical behavior was brought up along with the potential mental health scare possibly due to his actions. Along with Stephen A. Smith comment about black men wearing hoodies. Those are only some of the L's that were awarded on tonight's episode. The true highlight of the show was when we spoke on our expectations about the live action Lion King movies along with the cast reveal. All in all classic material

What's good B? Welcome to Slick Radio B. You should already know we are the BEST DAMN PODCAST POINT BLANK PERIOD B! Today we are celebrating the 15th year anniversary of the CLASSIC movie Paid In Full. Do you understand what I'm saying B? The movie will be quoted throughout the ENTIRE show B so be warned. Then we take a turn into nerd town real quick and had a Pokemon rant for no apparent reason. After that brief trip, we headed into serious town and discussed the 5 year anniversary of Underwood's life saving procedure. Funny how much can change within only a few years B. Anyways the finale we wrap up the show with celebrating Kendrick Lamar Good Kid Maad City 5 year anniversay (a lot to celebrate this episode) and we debate on whether it is a classic or not. Later branching off to our opinions on Kendrick's place in Hip Hop. All in all great episode, make sure there's Soy Sauce in the bag. At the end of the day Everybody Eats B.

We were in the area, thought we'd swing by like a....just listen to the intro and you'll get it lol. Anyways this is SLICK RADIO! The BEST DAMN PODCAST POINT BLANK PERIOD! This is one another improvised episode and one of our shorter ones in recently memory. A dedication was made to a woman who had impacted Underwood's life who recently passed this week (Rest In Power). The conversation transitioned into music and religion the constant apparent war between the two. Jewels are dropped throughout the episode after our randomly inspired rants. Unplanned and unfiltered all in all solid episode. It's just healthy.

We are backkkkk! This is Slick Radio!! The BEST DAMN Podcast EVER! Point blank PERIOD! Ladies and Gentlemen Slicksters of all ages, tonight is a special episode. Ladies you are represented by our Special Guest Host Jaleta (Please say the T) and every topic that came up for the most part was improvised. Only one of our intended topics was thoroughly discussed. And that my friends makes for a classic episode. Topics range from Team Lawrence being defended (*raises fist) to relationships, cat-calling, Trump, among others. A preview of future shows was experienced this episode. Hope you all pay attention. All in all, classic material.

Welcome to another episode of the BEST DAMN PODCAST EVER!!! The show starts with us paying our respects to the passing of the Legendary Hugh Hefner and the impact he had on the Modeling/Adult Industry. Then in usual fashion we take a turn into serious town and we discuss the lack of empathy and respect Trump has for his country. Especially now when solidarity is needed more than ever. Along with the "boycott" of the NFL. The um "kneeling" to the National Anthem and the results of this "peaceful protest". Eventually we take the highway away from serious town into gamer county. Our love for Arcades is proudly displayed and a challenge is thrown out. For the finale we address the "Nice Guy" syndrome. You all get this work from us. Another solid episode from the most consistent Podcast in the business.

Good evening Slicksters welcome back to the BEST damn PODCAST POINT BLANK PERIOD! Now, we obviously address the elephant in the room and speak on the recent Kevin Hart scandal. The impact this will have on his marriage and career. Followed by the 11 year anniversary of Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor album and his contribution to Hip-Hop. Last but not least we cover the war between Women and Video Games. The never ending, under the radar war. All in all, good episode.

Welcome back Slicksters to the best damn Podcast EVER! We return for another solid episode of Slick Radio. First and foremost let us get this disclaimer out of the way. Slick Radio is Team Lawrence (From Insecure) so no bashing of this man is allowed. The first topic that is covered is the Fast And Furious controversy between Tyrese vs Dwayne Johnson. Then ladies and gentlemen, we dive into our take away from the second season of Insecure. Characters are broken down, some jewels are dropped and I'm pretty sure Hype pissed a couple of women off with a statement or two. After this lengthy discussion we take a turn into conspiracy town and speak on Chance The Rapper possibly being an Industry Tool. However, this wasn't a long visit as we managed to exit onto the Highway Of Knowledge and dropped off a couple of more jewels on the way back home. Our finale includes us talking about the 10 Year Anniversary Of Kanye West (also referred to as ClownYe) album Graduation. The impact it has had on Hip-Hop and how it compares to his other albums. We miss the old Kanye......

Welcome Slicksters to the best damn podcast EVER! Point blank period!! This now officially our longest recorded episode and it is a goooood one. First and foremost Nas ain't Hip Hop anymore lets get that out of the way early. But, we address the seems to be frequent Colin Kaepernick controversy with Jason Whitlock doing a inappropriate parody of the situation. Hype claims Halloween is overrated and that is briefly debated. This leads into the rating of "Urban" Horror Movies we grew up watching and enjoying (despite them being terrible for the most part). Underwood discusses the upcoming movie "IT" and the impact it could potentially have on society beyond just enjoying the movie. Then we make a left turn back into the 90's where we rate the Top Black Women of Hollywood (for the most part) in a hilarious segment. Then for the finale we address the Elephant in the room, Nas not being Hip Hop. That leads into a in-depth conversation about the shift in what's considered Hip-Hop also managed to sneak in a few dream collaborations. All in all, classic episode.

Welcome to The House Of Slick!! THE HOUR(S) OF POWER!!! The Deacon Pastor and Brother Usher bring some of that good ole Slick Gospel into your lives, for about 5 minutes. Then the duo you know and love, Underwood and Hype, bring to you THE BEST DAMN PODCAST POINT BLANK PERIOD. Alright, we start off by addressing this Joel Osteen controversy and take a turn into serious town discussing religion once again. Jewels were definitely dropped in the beginning half of this episode despite the hilarious intro. Then we made our exit and discuss the most expensive Sparring Match ever between Mayweather and McGregor and the future of boxing. We also revisit some classic boxing bouts we got to experience back in our younger days. Then the show is wrapped up with Hype explaining his 1 year of sobriety. The episode is perhaps the longest episode we have currently done so far and is entertaining and insightful from start to finish. Classic material for your listening pleasure.

You gots to earn this....yeah you'll get this reference by the end of the episode. THIS IS SLICK RADIO!! The best DAMN Podcast EVER, POINT BLANK PERIOD! We started out this episode with the unavoidable topic of the Charlottesville event that took place August 12th. This has been all over the media and we couldn't really help but really touch on this sensitive situation. Punches were not pulled at all. If you still love us after this episode we appreciate it, but if you do get a little upset it is definitely understandable as well. Donald Trump also got this work, and was chin checked verbally. Took a brief turn into comedy town and spoke on HBO's hit show Insecure and why we are Team Lawrence. Just to make a hard u-turn back into serious town and we tackle the forever controversial opinions about Religion. We end on a light note with our Hip Hop dream collaborations with a new twist. All in all classic vintage episode of why we are the BEST.

Slicksters welcome to another classic episode of SLICK RADIO!!! The best damn Podcast POINT BLANK PERIOD! But, I digress welcome to another good quality episode where we managed to have a balanced attack of topics. We start with a impromptu conversation about the process of being engaged before marriage becoming overrated. We discuss the lack of great break up songs and how underappreciated they really are. Then we tackle the hot topic at hand with Ms. Quantasia Sharpton vs Usher and how ridiculous this situation is becoming. Then we take a left turn into serious town and go another round about the Colin Kaepernick controversy. Underwood briefly challenges the legacy of Street Fighter and the impact it has had. Our dream ideal interviews for Slick Radio (Special shout out to my microphone for picking up sounds from outside). Then a u-turn is made into serious town and talk about the possible war between USA and North Korea. All in all a great episode to help end your week on a positive note.

This is one of our more awkward but very entertaining episodes we have ever done. First and foremost we try to tackle as best as we could the controversial statement made by Lil Duval on a recent Breakfast Club interview about his view on Transexual's. Introducing a different perspective about the media not many people have discussed openly. Awkwardly leading into Mr. Valentino's recent situation and the potential benefits of prostitution argued by Hype (don't ask why). Then Hype brings up Major Payne Vs Friday. Damon Wayans Vs Chris Tucker a VERY interesting comparison and laugh provoking conversation. A few more subjects are tackled but...that's for you to download and explore. THIS IS SLICK RADIO!!!

R.I.P. Chester Bennington thank you for the music and the memories that go with them. This episode is one of those where we sort of play with the stepping over boundaries threshold. Not necessarily like our Time For A Conversation Episode but we do cross some new lines. We cover OJ Simpsons' parole and the impact it will have on society. How terrible the Floyd Mayweather Conor Mcgregor fight is being promoted. The life and accusations of Mr. Robert Kelly along with this sexual "cult" that was apparently founded. Usher also got this work as well with his situation of contracting a STD. We did HOWEVER had to get serious about Michael Vick's statement towards Colin Kaepernick.  And for the FIRST TIME, we introduce the TLD Hall Of Shame. All in all great episode.
